FunSkills

Who we are:

Developing important fundamental movement skills (FMS) in young children is an essential component in the building blocks of skill acquisition. FunSkills is a programme that is designed to build the FMS that all children need to develop before they can master more complicated activities, games and sports.

Being physically active can assist students to achieve better at school and improve their social and emotional skills. FunSkills aims to provide a fun, non-competitive and safe environment in which children can learn and develop these skills. The sessions run from 45min up to 1 hour, twice a week and during school hours.

Objectives:

  • Improving Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) in children not involved in sport.
  • Increase self-confidence in children.
  • Creating opportunities for them to explore, learn and develop FMS
  • Provide a fun, non-competitive and safe environment in which children can learn and develop FMS
