Terms: 1 and 4

Practice times:
Monday 3.45 – 4.45pm Sprints & Middle Distance running
Thursday 3.45 – 4.45pm Sprints & Middle Distance running
Wednesday 5.30 – 6.30pm Throws only

Venue:
Monday & Thursday: Porritt Stadium
Wednesday: Porritt Stadium

Approx Reg. Cost: $80.00
Uniform: PE or lycra shorts and top. Lycra running shorts can be purchased from the school shop.

Details: Training is run by our athletics coach, Barrie Jennings. The focus is on competitive athletics, for students who wish to compete in school and local competitions. Athletes who sign up are required to attend trainings on Mondays and Thursdays for running events. For girls training for field events on the Wednesday, should do either a Monday or a Thursday session also. In term 1 Hawks Athletics Club runs athletic meets on Wednesday evenings and our athletes are encouraged to compete in these events to gain competition experience.
