Dio 1st XI v St Peters 1st XI Premier Girls Knockout Final.
The final of the Premier Girls Knockout Out Competition was a hard fought and very even contest between the two teasms who had earlier finished 1st and 2nd in the local league. Dio played with real teamwork for the entirity of the game showing true Dio spirit. They had control for large segments of the game but lacked the ability to finish. The final score was 2-0 with the 2nd goal scored in the last minute against the run of play.

Well played girls, we came sixth in the 5-a-side losing our knock-out game 2 – 1. Te Aroha College won our group.

Waikato Secondary Schools 5 a side tournament
Dio came runners up in today's tournament losing to Girls High in the final. Along the way they beat Hillcrest 4-0, Forest View 6-0, Sacred Heart 1-1, Sacred Heart 1-0. Well done girls you had a successful day.

Following this result Dio finish runners up in the Waikato Secondary School Girls Premier Football competition. They scored a total of 75 goals in 10 matches which was the highest of all teams.
