Practice time:            Tues & Thurs 6.30 -7.30am

Term 1 only                Wednesday 4.30 - 5.30pm School pool (when no Wed matches)

Match day                   Water world Te Rapa

 Monday and/or Wednesday, between 6pm and 9pm

Approx. Cost             $130 per term

Uniform                      Water polo togs (purchased from the Sports centre)

Details:

In 2012 we will enter teams into the interschool competitions throughout the year. Girls registering for Water polo in Term 1 must realise that they are making a commitment to a team for terms 1 & 2. Juniors are required to register at the start of the year for the competition in terms 3 & 4.

Trials

Open Grade

These will be held in week 1 of term 1 to select our top team which will compete in the Open A grade competition and go to the NI and National B grade tournaments. Trials will be open to all players irrespective of age or year level. Player’s trialling for the top team will be expected to have followed a swim training programme during the summer holidays so they come to the trials with a high fitness level.

Junior Grade

Trials for the junior teams will be held in week 10 of term 2. A junior A team will be selected which will compete in the Junior A grade competition and possibly go to the NI Junior tournament in December. Trials will be open to all players in year 9 & 10.

19th - 22nd April National B Grade Tournament – Hamilton

29^th , 30^th Nov, 1^st ,2^nd December NIJSS Water polo Champs – Auckland
